Most of us a unaware of the thoughts that roam through our minds throughout the day, but in fact there are hundreds,
if not thousands of subliminal thoughts parading through our minds on any given day. Too often those thought are lies of Satan,
or lies we tell ourselves about our self-worth and the realities of the world and people around us. We are responsible for our thoughts.
Scripture says, "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." The reality is that thoughts create our emotions. Emotions do not creat thoughts.
every negative emotion we have is based on a thought, or a series of negative thoughts. Left unchecked those erroneous thoughts cause
untold damage to ourselvves as well as family and friends.
This is a study of dysfunctional thoughts, negative thinking habits, that create negative emotions. It is based on Scripture. Each chapter
highlights a biblical character who struggled with negative thoughts and emotions. Psychologically we call these 10 Cognitive Distortions,
otherwise known as "10 Lies of Satan", which many of us think that making us vulnerable to emotional dsyfunction.
They are thoughts that "stink" and make us to "sink." We expore 9 negative thought patterns that will ruin your joy and your relationships, subjects like feeling unloved, perfectionism,
insecurity, anxiety, complaining, anger, lust, depression and suicidal thoughts. On this page we provide the same book in a larger format 8.5" x 11" so if you are leading a study you can print a chapter at a time. Also the appendix provides self-diagnostics to help you track your thoughts. We also have included the audio teaching series as originally presented.
